Structural behavior of lightweight reinforced concrete columns exposure to eccentric loads at high temperature

This paper presents an experimental investigation on the behavior of six reinforced concrete columns under elevated temperature. An expanded clay aggregate (LECA) was used in three ,other remain natural .All RC have similar cross sectional dimensions 150mm ×150 mm (width× height); and 1250mm total length. The were designed according to ACI Committee 318-2014 exposed different temperatures 400 oC and500 oC. After exposure temperature, axially loaded by compression force using eccentricity ratio (e/h) equal 0.5. test results demonstrated a remarkable decrease ultimate carrying capacity when subjected test also revealed that lightweight more fire resistance than normal weight same load LWRC decreases about 6.5 % ,and 14.286 %, at temperature magnitude ºC, 500 ºC respectively, compared with control column ambient However, NWRC 14.15 %,and 28.571
